The tutoring program of the PhD program is defined from the lines of research established by the program and starts from the first semester in which applicants present research protocols. The figure responsible for the support of research projects is the thesis director.

The director will be a Basic Faculty member or Senior Researcher; they will be assigned to each student by the Tutorial Committee. The Director shall be responsible for guiding and advising the PhD student during the program, considering up to 4 students tutored by each Director. The program requires  systematic and ongoing support throughout the learning process.
